The four bedrooms are all equipped with single beds that can double up as king size comfort for couples. It has a full bathroom with second shower and extra separate toilet.
Our twins were born in this quaint Pilgrim’s Rest style corrugated iron house with its wooden floors and fireplace to keep you cosy on chilly evenings. It is one of our oldest houses and a remnant of the gold rush to which Kaapsehoop owes its existence. We’re told it dates back to about 1914.
The house does have a dining room, but its only for the uninitiated. Our tenants and regular visitors know to catch their breath outdoors and on their stoep. The wooden deck at Hadeda is the local envy, and the ideal spot to solve the intricacies of life and politics.
Of course, you can also just hibernate with a book and your favourite drink. But come and decide that for yourself.
